Monthly Over Allocation records store data when changes are made to resource availability in PSA, before these changes are successfully pushed to Analytics.
The Monthly Over Allocation object includes the following fields.

| Availability Dataset Update Log | A lookup to the dataset update log associated with monthly over allocation. |
| Day 1 Hours (plus equivalent fields for Days 2-31) |
Indicates the number of over allocated hours for the resource on the first day of the month. The over allocation is based on the number of held and assigned hours that exceed the resource's total available hours in their work calendar. If a resource does not have a work calendar, there is no corresponding Utilization Engine record and therefore no associated Monthly Over Allocation record. The same rules apply to equivalent days of the month for all fields up to and including Day 31 Hours. |
| List of Hours | A list of daily hours corresponding to the monthly over allocation record. This offers an insight into whether there are any differences between the monthly over allocation record and the Analytics dataset. |
| Month Number | The month number of the year corresponding to the monthly over allocation record. |
| Potential Duplicate |
Indicates a monthly over allocation record that is a potential duplicate of an existing record that is due to be deleted after the push to Analytics. If the push to Analytics is unsuccessful, the potential duplicate record is merged with other records that hold the same resource, month number, and year and that were created while the initial record was in the process of being pushed to Analytics. |
