Skill Rating Suggestions for Resources Overview

Skill rating suggestions are based on your existing skills used for your assignments closed within a time period defined by your administrator. These assignments must be associated with a resource request that includes a resource skill request. Skill rating suggestions flag ratings that you might need to update according to their evaluation date and the thresholds defined by your administrator.

Flagged skill ratings display in the Skills tab in the Manage Skills and Certifications window. The evaluation date of each rating displays as follows:

• Dates that fall between the upper and lower threshold are indicated by an amber flag.
• Dates that fall within the upper threshold are indicated by a red flag.

You can hover over each flagged rating to view the number of assignments the skill has been used in the period defined by your administrator. Additionally, you can view when you last updated the rating.

An evaluation date without an indicator means one of the following:

• The date falls within the lower threshold.
• The skill has not been used for any assignments closed within the defined time period.

If enabled by your administrator, you receive notifications for skill ratings with an evaluation date between the upper and lower thresholds or within the upper threshold. You can click the notification to be redirected to the Manage Skills and Certifications window to view the flagged ratings.
