Skills and Certifications Hierarchy Overview

Using the Skills and Certifications Hierarchy page, you can view and manage skills and certifications in the hierarchy.

On this page, all existing categories, skills, and certifications in your org display, including records that match any of the following scenarios:

• Records without a category
• Inactive records
• Records with a deactivated type
• Records not associated with your role or your associated skill zone

Categories, skills, and certifications display in alphabetical order. Categories display first, and subcategories and child skills and certifications nest within these categories. You can expand or collapse a category or subcategory by clicking or . Skills and certifications without a category display in alphabetical order after the categorized skills and certifications.

For categories, a number in parentheses next to the category indicates the number of immediate child records. For example, for a category that includes one subcategory and four skills, the number is 5.

From the Skills and Certifications Hierarchy page, you can create skills, certifications, and categories, and edit existing records.
