Preparing to Upgrade

This section lists things to consider before upgrading PSA Direct for Jira.

Prerequisites

You need the appropriate licenses and access to:

  • The Atlassian Jira application. The supported versions are:

    • Jira Cloud
    • Jira Server 8.0 or newer

  • The following Certinia packages:

    • Foundations Summer 2025 or newer.
    • PSA Core Spring 2024 or newer.
    • PSA Spring 2024.
    • Certinia PSA Direct for Jira Spring 2024 extension package.

Some of these packages are themselves dependent on other packages and might have specific upgrade steps that you must perform. For more information, see the following:
