Prevent Duplicate Jira Issues When Making Bulk Updates from PSA
We have improved how the PSA Direct for Jira connector synchronizes bulk updates between PSA and Jira. When you create or update many PSA projects and project tasks at the same time, for example when you launch a project from a template, the connector can now record the Salesforce record ID on the related Jira issue and use it to identify and update the matching issue. This prevents the duplicate Jira issues that could previously occur when batches were processed together, so your data stays consistent across both systems without manual cleanup. To use this, your administrator enables the feature and specifies the Jira custom field that stores the Salesforce record ID.
