New Features and Enhancements in Revenue Management Summer 2026
The following new features have been introduced in the Summer 2026 release of Revenue Management.
If you are upgrading from a previous version, see Upgrading to Revenue Management Summer 2026. This provides a summary of the items that have been added for each feature and details of any required upgrade steps.
If you are upgrading from a version earlier than Spring 2026, check the documentation for previous releases for upgrade details.
Enhance Recognition Management Using New Mapping Fields
We have extended the number of Analysis Items from 5 to 8. This update offers greater flexibility in revenue recognition and enables more granular filtering based on unique customer Source Object fields. This enhancement ensures that when you map any field, it is automatically pushed to the Analytics dataset for seamless use within Recognition Management.
For more information, see Revenue Recognition Dataset Input Fields.
Enhance Recognition Management Visibility with a Streamlined Page Layout
The Recognition Management page has been streamlined to provide a cleaner, more focused experience.
Optimized Page Header and Summary View
The Recognition Management header that previously displayed above the summary section has been removed, giving you more space to view your recognition data. You can now view the recognition management summary directly on the Recognition Management page.
For more information, see Recognition Management Page.
Centralized Actions and Task Launcher
The sidebar Actions panel has been completely removed to provide a larger, clutter-free workspace for reviewing your metrics. Instead, we have added the Automate Processes, Synchronize Recognition Schedules, and Refresh Analytics Data buttons for faster, single-click execution of high-priority tasks directly on the top header. Also, the Create Recognition Management App, Deferred Revenue True-Up All, and Generate Revenue Contracts for All Engagements links are now accessible on the Revenue Management Task Launcher page.
For more information, see Recognition Management Page.
Customize Visibility with Dedicated Dashboards and Custom Settings
We have added the Cost Recognition Summary and Revenue Recognition Summary dashboards to the Revenue Management Analytics app. These dashboards allow you to isolate and analyze specific financial streams alongside the default combined view. To manage these views, use the new Dashboard Type custom setting to configure the Recognition Management page to display the Revenue Recognition Summary dashboard, the Cost Recognition Summary dashboard, or the combined view. If the custom setting contains an invalid value, the page defaults to the combined view.
For more information, see Revenue Management Analytics Overview.
Improved Workflow in Revenue Management Task Launcher
The Revenue Management Task Launcher has been updated to provide a more structured and intuitive user experience. Previously displayed as a list of links, the workspace is now organized into two distinct, functional sections to streamline your workflow:
- Setup
- Period End Processing
For more information, see Revenue Management Task Launcher Overview .
Track Revenue and Cost Totals Using Multi-Currency Filters
The Recognition Management page now displays key performance indicators (KPIs) above the grid, providing a summary of revenue and cost information by currency.
The KPIs are grouped into two expandable sections:
- Revenue: Scheduled Revenue, Recognizable Revenue, Recognized Revenue, and Revenue Realization Rate.
- Cost: Scheduled Cost, Recognizable Cost, Recognized Cost, and Cost Realization Rate.
Both sections can be expanded or collapsed independently, allowing you to focus on the metrics most relevant to your workflow. KPI values are dynamically updated based on the filters applied. Also, the recognition management grid on the Recognition Management page is now labeled as Recognition Management Lines.
For more information, see Recognition Management Page.
