Selecting a Custom Scheduling Strategy

On the Assign Resource to Project page you can select a custom scheduling strategy and view the updated end date for the assignmentConnection between a resource and a project. based on the scheduled hours.

To select a custom scheduling strategy and update the end date:

1. Display the Assign Resource to Project page.
2. Complete the fields in the Assignment Details area.
3. Enter the hours for the assignment in Scheduled Hours.
4. Select Custom from the Scheduling Strategy drop-down list.
5. Click Update Schedule.
6. Enter the hours that you want the resourceA contact that works on a project. to work each day.
7. Click Update Schedule.

The assignment end date shown in the Scheduled Details area is recalculated.
