Approving a Milestone

When the milestoneA fixed target, which when achieved, can be billed to the customer for a fixed fee or by logging time against it. is complete:

1. Display the milestone that you want to approve.
2. Select Approved from the status drop-down list.
3. If you do not have an Approval process select the Approved checkbox, otherwise follow the approval process for your organization.

   A milestone is included in billing eventsA means of generating billing information that can be fed into a financial system the next time they are generated.
