Assigning a Resource on the Project Planner

To assign a resource to a project from a resource request listed on the project plannerA graphical tool that gives you an organized, comprehensive view of projects and the resources assigned to them.:

1. Display the project planner and search for the projectA collection of activities and related items to be managed over a defined time range, such as timecards, expenses, milestones and budgets. that you want to assign the resource to.
2. Click to expand the details for the project
3. Click the resourceA contact that works on a project. that you want to assign.
4. Click the Assign Resource to Project Icon:

   

   The Assign Resource to Project page appears.

5. Select the assignmentConnection between a resource and a project. options you want and click Assign.
