Searching in the Project Planner

To search for an item in the project plannerA graphical tool that gives you an organized, comprehensive view of projects and the resources assigned to them.:

1. On the Home page sidebar, click Project Planner or Project Planner (PM) depending on the version of the project planner that you want to view.
2. Click the Search icon:

   

   The Search popup window appears.

3. Click to display a list of fields that you can search on.
4. Select a field from the drop-down list.

   Depending on the field that you selected, fields appear where you can enter specific search criteria.For instance, if you select practiceA level of hierarchy used in PSA to which other objects belong such as resources, opportunities and projects., a Name box, + button and Include Practice Sub-Levels checkbox appears. In this case you can enter a practice name, choose whether you want to search within practice sub levels for that practice and click + to include another practice name in the search. 5. If you want to include another field in the search, click + and repeat steps 3 to 4. If you want to remove a field from the search, click – on the line for that field.
6. Click Search.
