Custom Object Permissions

Tip

FinancialForce PSA includes the profiles PSE - Consultant, PSE - Customer Portal Manager, PSE - Finance, PSE - Management, PSE - Operations and PSE - Sales. If you use these custom user profiles, these settings are already defined, or if you mapped these custom permissions to your own profiles during installation, many of these settings are predefined.

Read the "Standard and Custom Object Permissions" section in the Salesforce Help before setting a profile's custom object permissions.

To set custom object permissions manually:

1. From Setup, click Manage Users | Profiles.
2. Grant each user profile appropriate basic permissions to create, read, edit and delete records for each custom object.
3. Click Save.
4. Repeat these steps for all other relevant profiles.
