Creating or Importing Time Periods

You should set up all the time periods that you require in advance including time periods well into the future.

To import time periods:

1. Define the exact time periods you want to work with, in a CSVComma Separated Values file.

   In this example several time periods of the type Week will be created:

   

   Click the image to expand it.

2. Import the CSV file using the Salesforce Data Loader Tool.
   Note

   

   Once the time period is in use, it does not change.

To create a single time period:

1. Click the Time Periods tab.
2. Click New.
3. Complete the fields described in "Time Period Fields".
4. Click Save.
