Editing Project Task Details

You can edit the Task Name, Points, Percentage Complete, Start Date, End Date and Blocked fields inline. You can edit the remaining fields on the Edit popup.

To edit the details of a project taskA unit of work or collection of work associated with a project. inline:

1. Double-click the value that you want to change in the task hierarchy.
2. Enter the value that you want.
3. Select another task or field.

To view the details for project tasks using the Edit popup:

1. Select the checkbox of the tasks that you want to edit the details for.
2. Click Edit.
3. If you want to change a value, Edit the fields as described in "Task Management Classic Fields".

   When you have selected more than one task and they have a different value for a field, Various is displayed, or in the case of a checkbox, it is filled. If you make changes to a field, those changes are applied to all selected tasks. When a field shows Various or is filled, the values for that field on the selected tasks remain unchanged when you click Save.
4. Click Save.
