Drop-down List Dependencies

The Timecard Entry page supports drop-down list dependencies set on timecard fields. For instance, you can add a dependency between the Project and Methodology drop-down lists so that only certain values appear in the list depending on the value set in the controlling drop-down list.

Note

For this to work, the controlling and dependent drop-down lists must be displayed in the same section of a timecard. For instance, in the timecard line or the expanded view details section. If the controlling drop-down list is not displayed in the same location, all the options are shown on the dependent drop-down list.
