Assigning Resources Directly by Name

To assign a resource to a project directly by name:

1. Click Assign Resource on the Project related list for the project to which you want to assign resources.
2. On the Assign Resource to Project page, complete the fields described in "Assign Resource to Project Fields".

   A schedule is created, based on the scheduling strategy you selected.

3. Click Create Assignment.

   The Assignment Edit page appears.

4. Make the changes you want as described in "Assignment Detail Fields".
5. Click Save.
