You can use FinancialForce Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to connect FinancialForce applications so they can share information. For example, you can configure Human Capital Management (HCM) to publish information to ERP, which then passes the information to subscribing applications, such as Professional Services Automation (PSA).
You can also use ERP to connect third-party applications to FinancialForce applications. For example, you can use a FinancialForce REST API to send information from a third-party HCM application to ERP, which then passes information to a subscribing FinancialForce application.
