Assigning Gantt (Beta) Permissions

To grant the permissions to the relevant users of Gantt (Beta), as an administrator you must:

• Assign the permission set "PSA Project Manager - Gantt" to give users access to Gantt (Beta).
• Assign the relevant permission controls to users who need access to view or edit project tasks.

Assigning Permission Sets

To provide the necessary permissions for a user to access Gantt (Beta):

1. Open Setup.
2. In the Administration section, select Users | Users. Using Classic In the Administration Setup section, select Manage Users | Users.
3. Select the full name of the user.
4. In the Permission Set Assignments related list, click Edit Assignments.
5. Select "PSA Project Manager - Gantt" from the Available Permission Sets list and move it to the Enabled Permission Sets list.
6. Click Save.

Assigning Permission Controls

To enable users to view, or view and edit projects in Gantt (Beta), you need to configure a user's permission control record.

To set up a permission control for a user:

1. Open Setup.
2. In App Launcher, select All Items | Permission Controls. Using Classic Select the Permission Controls tab.
3. Click New.
4. Complete the summary fields, as needed.
5. In the Permissions section, select:
   • Project Task Gantt View. This enables the user to view projects in Gantt (Beta).
   • Project Task Gantt Edit. This enables the user to view and edit projects in Gantt (Beta).

6. Click Save or Save & New.
