Adding Project Tasks from a Template

You can copy all project tasks from a projectA collection of activities and related items to be managed over a defined time range, such as timecards, expenses, milestones and budgets. template to your current project. Existing hierarchy and project task dependencies are maintained.

To add project tasks from a project template:

1. On the project's Project Tasks related list, click Add Project Tasks From Template.
2. On the Select Project Template page, select a project template to copy tasks from and click Select. The Add Project Tasks page is displayed.
3. [Optional] If no project tasks are displayed, click Select Different Template and select a template that contains project tasks.
4. [Optional] On the Add Project Tasks page, select the Top Level Task Start Date to filter the tasks displayed.
5. Click Add Tasks to add all the project tasks from the template to the current project. Existing hierarchy and project task dependencies are retained.
