Project Task Gantt Custom Preferences

You can change a preference in the Project Task Gantt Custom Preferences page. When you change a preference, an equivalent mapped custom setting is also updated in Project Task Gantt Settings and Preferences

Updates to custom preferences apply immediately when changed in Project Task Gantt and do not require a refresh, except for:

• Zoom level in the Display tab.
• Task selection in the Tasks tab.

The Zoom level and Task selection custom preference settings apply to the initial load of Project Task Gantt. Your selected behavior displays in subsequent loading of Project Task Gantt.

To modify custom preferences:

1. In the Toolbar of Project Task Gantt click Preferences Panel.
2. Select a Custom Preferences tab:

• Alerts Tab

  Alerts Tab Preference Setting	Maps To Field	Custom Setting
  Milestone alerts	Alerts - Task dates - Milestone	Project Task Gantt Preferences.
  PTA date alerts	Alerts - Task dates - PTA dates
  PTA hours alerts	Alerts - Task hours - PTA hours
  Project alerts	Alerts - Task dates - Project

• Assignment Tab

  Assignments Tab Preference Setting	Maps To Field	Custom Setting
  Auto linking assignments	Suppress Auto Link Assignment	Project Task Gantt Preferences.

• Display Tab

  Display Tab Preference Settings	Maps To Field	Custom Setting
  Enable Day Detail	Enable Day Detail	Project Task Gantt Preferences.
  Save preview dialog	Hide Preview and Confirmation on Save
  Zoom level	Zoom Level

• Tasks Tab

  Tasks Tab Preference setting	Maps To Field	Custom Setting
  Task selection	Single Click Task Selection	Project Task Gantt Preferences.
  Hours complete percentage	Show Hours Completion % in Task Bar	Project Task Gantt Settings.
  Show Task Notes	Show Task Notes
  Points complete percentage	Show Points Completion % in Task Bar

3. Click Back to Project Task Gantt when finished.
