Currency Settings

The settings in the Currencies configuration groupA collection of configuration options contained in the configuration groups tab that defines behavior of a FinancialForce PSA object or feature. control the way in which PSA handles exchange rates.

Setting	Description
ERROR_DATED_EXCHANGE_RATES_NOT_FOUND	Error message to be displayed to users when Use Dated Exchange Rate is set to true and the expected dated exchange rates are not available.
ERROR_USE_DATED_RATES_FLAG_FALSE	Error message displayed to users to indicate that the Use_Dated_Exchange_Rates configuration option is set to false so no currency conversions are allowed.
ERROR_VALID_EXCHANGE_RATES_NOT_FOUND	Error message to be displayed to users when valid exchange rates for the specified dates and currencies cannot be found.
Use Dated Exchange Rates	Indicates whether dated exchange rates are used for multi-currency conversions when PSA is configured to use the currencies on the Currencies tab.
Use Salesforce Advanced Multi Currency	Indicates whether PSA uses Salesforce's advanced multi-currency feature. When set to false, PSA uses the currencies defined on the Currencies tab.

Note: Note

Even when the Salesforce advanced multi-currency feature is in operation, some values shown in brackets for totals may not be accurate because these figures are generated from the Salesforce currencies. These values are not used in the project calculations. Rolled up values on projects are converted using the exchange rates that you have specified.
