Revenue Recognition Integrations

Integration is available between the Revenue Forecasting feature in PSA and FinancialForce Revenue Management.

Integration with FinancialForce Revenue Management

If the latest version of FinancialForce Revenue Management is already installed, licensed, and set up on your org, relevant data from Revenue Management is automatically included when any user with the required permissions runs Revenue Forecasting.

Note:

For information on how to set up the integration between Revenue Management and PSA, search for "Integration" in the Revenue Management Help. No setup is required in PSA but you must have the latest version of Revenue Management installed.

When you run a revenue forecast, only those records in Revenue Management that have changed since the forecast was last run are included in the calculations. The value in the Income Statement Amount field on a qualifying record in Revenue Management is used in the following way:

Tip:

You might want to remove the Revenue Pending Recognition and Revenue Recognized to Date fields from the Revenue Forecast Detail section of the Revenue Forecast layout if you do not want to integrate with a revenue recognition app. The value in the Revenue Recognized to Date field will always be zero and the Actuals field contains all the information you need.
