Managing Project Tasks in Gantt

Project tasks can be either a unit of project work with a duration, or a project checkpointA zero duration task record, which is used to represent an event in the project such as a key decision, completion of a work package, completion of a deliverable or end of a phase. Checkpoint tasks have no relationship with PSA milestones.. You can:

• Add, edit and delete project tasks and dependencies.
• Create and edit a project hierarchy.
• Assign resources and/or roles to project tasks to create project task assignments (PTAs).
• Create assignments or resource requests for PTAs.

Note: You cannot edit or delete the project row.
