Here is a description of the fields that make up a company ownership record.
Key: X – You must enter one or the other, not both; * – Mandatory field; R – Read-only in all contexts

| Internal Company | X | Lookup to the related owner (parent) company. This is another company within your organization. Duplicates are not allowed. |
| External Company | X | Name of an external owner company, outside of your organization. Duplicates are not allowed. |
| Company | R | Formula. Name of the owner company derived from one of the previous fields. Duplicates are not allowed. |
| Internal | Indicates that the owner company is internal. Displayed on the list view only. | |
| Ownership (%) | * | Ownership expressed as a percentage (more than zero, no decimal places). |
