When a sales credit note is "In Progress", you can preview it in PDF format. When a sales credit note is "Complete", you can preview and print it in both HTML and PDF format.
To print a sales credit note in HTML format:
To print the document in Adobe PDF format, navigate to the detail page as before, then click Print PDF instead. Print the document using the browser's Print option.
To preview the document, without creating a print event in the event log, click Preview (HTML) or View PDF instead. When the sales document has a status of "In Progress" and you preview it using the View PDF button, the word 'DRAFT' is shown as a watermark on the PDF. See Customizing the DRAFT watermark if you want to know how to change the watermark.
You can print a document any number of times, but only those events initiated with the Print or Print PDF button are logged.
