Lightning Resource Request Components Overview

You can use the Resource Request Lightning page with Lightning Experience A Salesforce user interface optimized for speed. and our components to staff resource requests. This Resource Request Lightning page has been optimized for staffing resource requests. By default, the Resource Request Lightning page includes a Details tab and a compact layout that is customizable. For more information on the fields displayed on the Details tab, see Resource Request Fields.

Note:

Settings in the Resource Single Staffer configuration group A collection of configuration options contained in the configuration groups tab that defines behavior of a FinancialForce PSA object or feature. as described in Advanced Search Filters are not supported on the Resource Request Lightning page.

The following Resource Request Lightning components are available to add to your own Lightning record pages to enable resource mangers to staff resource requests.

Note:

Our Lightning components only render on desktop. For more information about configuring components rendered on desktop in Lightning, see "Configure Your Component for Different Form Factors" in the Salesforce Help.

Lightning Resource Request Component Permissions

Apex class access, tab access, object, and field permissions are all required to access and use Lightning Resource Request components.

Apex Class Access

The following Apex class permissions are required.
