This Feature Console page allows you to enable the Revenue Schedules Beta feature. For information about revenue schedules, see About Revenue Schedules (Beta).
Work through the steps in the order shown on screen:
- You must acknowledge that the revenue schedules feature is a Beta version in this release. If you accept the provisos shown on screen, click Mark As Done.
- Update the Settings object's page layout to include the new Revenue Schedule Source Lookup field. Click Perform. When the step has completed, the Status changes from "Not Done" to "Done". If you have custom page layouts for the Settings object, manually add this field to them.
- If you intend generating revenue schedules from revenue contracts, you must manually update any settings records associated with performance obligations and populate the Revenue Schedule Source Lookup field with the ffrr__PerformanceObligation__c lookup. Click Mark As Done when the step is complete.
- If you intend generating revenue schedules from billing contracts but the Enabling Revenue Recognition for BC feature is not enabled, or was enabled in a previous version, you must:
- Manually create the following lookup on the ffrr__RevenueSchedule__c object:
ffrrBCContractLineItem__c relating to Billing Contract Line Item - Manually update any settings records associated with billing contracts and populate the Revenue Schedule Source Lookup field with the ffrrBCContractLineItem__c lookup.
Click Mark As Done when the step is complete.
- Manually create the following lookup on the ffrr__RevenueSchedule__c object:
- Manually add the "RM Beta Actions" Lightning component to a Lightning page such as the Revenue Management Home Page. Click Mark As Done when the step is complete.
When you have completed all the steps, use the Status slider in the Feature section to enable the feature.
