Supported Environment

Data Requirements

You must have installed Business Analytics and run the Financial Analytics app template to create the required datasets. See Configuring Financial Management Analytics and The App Template Design Wizard for more information.

We recommend that you use the following datasets with Financial Report Builder:

• Financial Transactions. To report on transactions.
• Financial Balances. To report on transactions and budget details.

To learn how to create and edit lenses in Analytics, see the Salesforce Help.

Warning:

We recommend that you do not modify any lenses after adding them your Financial Report Builder statements and reports. This is due to the dependency between Business Analytics and Financial Report Builder. If you delete or amend a lens used in Financial Report Builder, you might experience errors with any reports or statements that use this lens.

Dataflow Requirements

To display accurate data in your reports and statements, you must ensure that the dataflow that provides data for your required datasets is regularly updated. For more information, see the Salesforce Help.
