Renaming Budget Lines via Calculation Rules

Upgrade Steps

To start using this feature in October 2022, take the following action.

1 Create a new budget template and select the rule title from the Title Rule field. Creating a Budget Template

Adding Income and Expense Dimensions in Rates

To use the new Income and Expense dimensions, you must perform the following:

  1. Create Income and Expense dimensions in Rate Type.
  2. Verify Income and Expense dimensions in Rate Type.

Creating Income and Expense Dimensions in Rate Type

To create Income and Expense dimensions in Rate Type, perform the following steps:

  1. From the Planning Setup tab, click Dimensions | Rate Type.
  2. Click Save and redirect to Rate Types.
  3. Click New.
  4. In the Name field, enter Expense.
  5. Click Save and New.
  6. In the Name field, enter Income.
  7. Click Save.

Verifying Income and Expense Dimensions in Rate Type

To verify Income and Expense dimensions in Rate Type, perform the following steps:

  1. From the Planning Setup tab, click Dimensions | Rate Type.
  2. Scroll down to the Dimensions drop-down list. Click to expand the Dimensions drop-down list.
  3. In Dimension 4, select the Visible checkbox.
  4. In the Dimension 4 Title field, enter Rate Type.
  5. In the Dimension 4 field dropdown, select “Rate Type”.
  6. Click Save.
