An EC Sales List is a document that outlines sales between VAT registered businesses of the European Union. The European Union tax authorities use these documents to ensure that VAT is properly recorded by both parties in cross-border sales between other European Union countries. This list is available via Avalara using the Avalara VAT Reporting integration.
You must meet the following criteria to produce a report using Avalara VAT Reporting:
- have an Avalara license
- use the Avalara VAT Reporting Integration
- use standard fields which do not require any additional mapping
