Editing Existing Mappings

You can edit a custom mapping on the PSA objects containing a unique target field, child relationship mappings, a unique target field, and target child type. If a managed mapping exists with the same information, the custom mapping overrides it.

Notes:
  • If you change the mapping for fields sent to Concur, then the new values are not automatically synchronized with Concur. To ensure that all values are synchronized, perform step 7 of the feature console. For more information, see Enabling PSA Direct for Concur Expense .

To edit mappings:

  1. Open the PSA Direct for Concur Expense Mappings tab.
  2. Navigate to the relevant field mapping components and select the field type that contains the relationship you want to edit mappings for from the list view.
  3. To make changes to an existing mapping, click and click Edit.
  4. Click Save. The changes to the mapping are now saved.

Examples

The following example provides steps to edit an existing mapping:

Map Resource Custom PSA Field

The following example contains the necessary steps for editing the existing mapping for the Resource field in Concur. You can edit other mappings following the same steps.

By default, the resource full name is synced to Concur. If two resources of the same name exists, you can differentiate them by the Salesforce ID or Object ID.

Note:

We assume that you have properly configured the Concur field for PSA Project and Synchronize Project Manager fields in the PSA Direct for Concur Expense Settings tab. For more information, see Configuring the PSA Direct for Concur Expense Settings.

To edit mappings:

  1. Open the PSA Direct for Concur Expense Mappings tab.
  2. Navigate to the PSA Resource to Concur Mappings component.
  3. Select the Full Name field and click and click Edit.
  4. Next to Source Field Path Field, lookup for Name.
  5. Leave the remaining values unchanged.
  6. Click Save. The changes to the mapping are now saved.
