Mapping PSA Direct for Jira Fields
This custom metadata type is used for defining the mappings between objects and fields in PSA and Jira Issue in the PSA Direct for Jira. If needed, you can change the default mappings or add new ones. For more information, see Customizing PSA Direct for Jira Field Mappings.
The metadata type records are used when you enable the PSA Direct for Jira and Upgrade PSA Direct for Jira features in the Feature Console, to provide mappings from PSA to Jira.

Jira Field ID | ID of the field on the specified Jira object for which the mapping is created in the PSA Direct for Jira. For example, customfield_10800. |
Jira Field Name | Name of the field on the specified Jira object for which the mapping is created in the PSA Direct for Jira. This field might be empty if a PSA field is mapped to an intermediary field in the PSA Direct for Jira that does not exist on the Jira object. For example, the Sync with Jira field. |
Owning Type | The type of the field. For example, fields. |
Jira Datatype | The Jira Datatype for this field. For example, String. |

Mapping Can Be Overridden | The checkbox that determines whether a managed mapping that targets the field can be overridden. |

The following fields are available when you click Add Mapping. Depending on your selections, different combinations of fields are visible.
Key: F – Field; CR – Child relationship; S – Static source; L – Lookup; CM – Child mapping; AL – Advanced lookup.
