Creating Budget Versions

To create a budget version from a parent budget:

  1. On the Planning Workspace tab, click Budget Versions.
  2. Click New.
  3. In the Search Source field, search for or select a source parent budget.
  4. Do one of the following:
    1. Select a source and the applicable child budgets.
    2. Click Show All Filters.
      1. In the Name field, search for a source parent budget.
      2. In the Year field, search for a budget year.
  5. Click Next.
  6. In the Name field, enter a unique name or use the pre-populated name.
  7. [Optional] In the Budget Description field, enter a budget version description.
  8. [Optional] In the Scenario field, select a budget version scenario.
  9. Click Save.

To create a budget version from a budget version:

  1. On the Planning Workspace tab, click Budget Versions.
  2. Click New.
  3. In the Search Source field, click Show All Filters.
  4. Select the Budget Versions checkbox.
  5. In the Name field, search for a source parent budget version.
  6. In the Year field, search for a budget version year.
  7. Click Next.
  8. In the Name field, enter a unique name or use the pre-populated name.
  9. [Optional] In the Budget Description field, enter a budget version description.
  10. [Optional] In the Scenario field, select a budget version scenario.
  11. Click Save.
