Creating Budget Versions
To create a budget version from a parent budget:
- On the Planning Workspace tab, click Budget Versions.
- Click New.
- In the Search Source field, search for or select a source parent budget.
- Do one of the following:
- Select a source and the applicable child budgets.
- Click Show All Filters.
- In the Name field, search for a source parent budget.
- In the Year field, search for a budget year.
- Click Next.
- In the Name field, enter a unique name or use the pre-populated name.
- [Optional] In the Budget Description field, enter a budget version description.
- [Optional] In the Scenario field, select a budget version scenario.
- Click Save.
To create a budget version from a budget version:
- On the Planning Workspace tab, click Budget Versions.
- Click New.
- In the Search Source field, click Show All Filters.
- Select the Budget Versions checkbox.
- In the Name field, search for a source parent budget version.
- In the Year field, search for a budget version year.
- Click Next.
- In the Name field, enter a unique name or use the pre-populated name.
- [Optional] In the Budget Description field, enter a budget version description.
- [Optional] In the Scenario field, select a budget version scenario.
- Click Save.
