Introduction

The VAT Reporting package delivers a VAT Return Report that meets HMRC requirements. You can view breakdown reports for each Tax Box, and work with the details using the usual Salesforce report functionality.

Before You Start

You must ensure that all the following statements are true:

• Your org is in single-company mode.
• The Home Currency for Company is GBP.
• The Tax Code Layout includes the Tax Box and Net Box fields. See Administrator Setup.
• Each tax code has appropriate and compatible values assigned to the Tax Box and Net Box fields. For details, see the information about completing tax returns on the HMRC website.
