Financial Report Builder Lightning Components Overview

Certinia provides Financial Report Builder custom Lightning components that you can add to Lightning pages. You can also customize some of these components. You need to be assigned administrator permissions or equivalent to access and use Certinia Lightning components.

The table below provides a description of each Lightning component available in Financial Report Builder and where it can be added. Components with more than one editable field have a corresponding Lightning Component properties topic linked to them.

When adding Financial Report Builder Lightning components to a page or workspace, you must include the Analytics Data Connector in order to display data in your reports.

Analytics Current Date Period Override Sets a current date period override to customize the data displayed in your report. The default value for this filter is today's date.  
Analytics Data Connector Required component that displays Financial Report Builder components on a page.  
Analytics Debug Logger Retrieves logs available for download from Financial Report Builder.  
Analytics Embedded Dashboards Embeds Analytics dashboards with Financial Report Builder filters. Analytics Embedded Dashboards Lightning Component Properties
Analytics Report Filter Adds a filter to customize Financial Report Builder data displayed on a page.  
Analytics Report Filter (Record) Adds a filter to customize Financial Report Builder data displayed on a record page.  
Analytics Report Table Adds a report table to a page.  
Analytics Share Report Definitions Shares report definitions created in Financial Report Builder. You can download report definitions in CSV or JSON file format to share reports across one or more orgs using the Import and Export tabs.  
Analytics Soft Date Filter Adds a soft date filter to customize Financial Report Builder data displayed on a page.  
Analytics Soft Date Filter (Record) Adds a soft date filter to customize Financial Report Builder data displayed on a record page.  
Financial Report Builder Actions Enables you to save and export Certinia Help reports from outside a Certinia Help record page.  

Adding Components to a Lightning Page

To add a component to a Lightning page:

  1. From Setup, navigate to the Lightning App Builder.
  2. Navigate to the Lightning page that you want to add a component to.
  3. Click and drag a component on to the relevant part of the Lightning page layout.
  4. [Optional] Use the options in the component properties to configure the component.
  5. Save and activate the Lightning page.
