Analysis Item Fields

Here is a description of the fields that are displayed when creating an analysis item on the Analysis Items tab.

Key: * – Mandatory field

Description
Name * The name of the analysis item.
Record Type *

The record type for this analysis item, which represents the reporting category to which it is associated.

If you are using analysis items as part of the Billing Document to Accounting Transaction integration, the following values are available:

Analysis 1 to Analysis 4.

Reporting Code * An alternative name or code that can be used for reporting.

The following buttons and actions are available on the analysis item.

Button Description
Change Record Type Displays the record type list and enables you to change the category to which the analysis item belongs.
Clone Makes a copy of the analysis item, which you can then rename and edit.
Delete Deletes the analysis item.
Edit Enables you to edit the selected analysis item
New Create a new analysis item. This button is accessed from the Analysis Item list view.
