Recording Values in the Analysis Items Component

If your administrator has set up analysis mappings functionality in your org, some Lightning record pages will contain the Analysis Items Lightning component.

This component enables you to view or record details for reportable categories across all the apps in your org.

To use the component to record data when viewing a Lightning record page:

  1. Navigate to the Analysis Items component.
  2. Find the analysis item you want to record or edit.
  3. Click .
  4. Search for and select a value.
  5. Click Save.

To help you select an appropriate value, all fields are filtered according to the category or categories that they represent. If a field contains values for more than one category, all relevant category names are displayed alphabetically against the field, such as Cost Center/Industry Type.
