Creating a New Reporting Value

To create a new reporting value:

  1. Click the Reporting Definitions tab.
  2. Open the relevant reporting definition detail page by clicking its name in the list of reporting definitions.
  3. In the Reporting Data Ranges related list, click the name of the reporting data range.
  4. Scroll down to the Reporting Values related list and click New Reporting Value.
  5. On the Record Type page, select "Summary" or "Detail". Summary is the default. The type of related data range must be compatible with your choice.
  6. Click Continue.

To edit an existing reporting value, click Edit next to the name of the reporting value in the Reporting Values related list.

You can specify the order you want the reporting values to display on the Reporting Values related list. To sort reporting values:

  1. Click Sort on the Reporting Values related list.
  2. For Group, select a template key for each of the reporting values displayed.
  3. For Sum, select a template key for each of the reporting values displayed.
  4. Click Save.

The reporting values are sorted alphanumerically by template key on the Reporting Values related list. The sorting will also be reflected on the associated report.

Note:

You cannot use duplicate template keys.
