Reporting Value Fields
Here is a description of the fields that make up a reporting value. Some of these fields may not be visible or editable at all times, or in all package combinations.

| Reporting Value Name | 80 | Name of this reporting value. This name may appear on some detail reports as a column heading. |
The number indicates the number of characters that are allowed in this text field, where appropriate.

| Field API Name | 255 | The valid API name of the field to aggregate or display. Must be unique within the parent reporting data range, with one exception. You can have two of the same field if one field has the Convert Value checkbox set and the other has it cleared. |
| Reporting Data Range | Master-Detail link to the related reporting data range. | |
| Template Key | Used by the template to identify the values it needs to run the report. If Type = Sum (A to Z). If Type = Group (01 to 99). If Type = Detail (01 to 30) | |
| Type | Group, Sum, Count or Detail. The validity of these query methods will depend on the type of data range being created (Summary or Detail). |
The following checkboxes are only valid when the reporting value type is set to Detail:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Group | Indicates that you want to group the data by this field. The template key must be in the range 01 to 03. |
| Sum | Indicates that you want to sub-total the data by this field. The template key must be in the range 21 to 30. |
| Sort | Indicates that you want to sort the data by this field. Columns are sorted from left to right (ascending order of template key). |
| Convert Value | Indicates that you want to convert the associated currency value into the org currency on a Detail report. This field will only take effect in a multi-currency org and when associated with a currency field. |
