Adding an Action to Generate Recognition Schedules from the Billing Contract Lightning Record Page

If you are using Billing Central with Revenue Management and you want to generate recognition schedules from a billing contract's Lightning record page, you must complete this additional setup:

  1. From Setup, click Object Manager, then click on Billing Contract in the list of objects.
  2. In the Buttons, Links, and Actions section, click New Action.
  3. From the Action Type drop-down list, select "Lightning Component".
  4. From the Lightning Component drop-down list, select "ffrr:GenerateRevenueScheduleFromBillingContractQuickAction".
  5. Leave the Height field set to the default 250px.
  6. In the Label field, enter "Generate Recognition Schedules". Users will see this label as the name of the action.
  7. In the Name field, enter "Generate_Recognition_Schedules".
  8. [Optional] Enter a description for the action.
  9. Click Save.

You must now add the new action to the relevant billing contract page layouts by dragging it from the Mobile & Lightning Actions section of the palette and dropping it in the Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions section of the page layout.
