Accounts
The Accounts object is a Salesforce object that contains customer information. The account record is the starting point for entering information such as company name, company addresses for billing, shipping and website information. You can also enter information for contacts and members of a sales team. You can create Salesforce opportunity records from an account record and from opportunity records you can create customer quotations in Order and Inventory Management.
The customer quotation is the basis for a sales order or service contract.
Order and Inventory Management adds several fields to the Salesforce Account object.
