Referencing Plans in Formula Builder

You can reference data from another plan when creating a formula. The benefit to creating references from other plans is that data that is updated on the external plan will automatically be updated on the referenced plan.

Adding a Reference

To add a reference:

  1. On the Formula Builder, click Add Reference. The Add Reference modal opens.
  2. Select a plan from the Plan Name list.
  3. Click Next.
  4. Use the Formula Builder to filter and create a formula for the cells that you want to reference. For more information, see Adding Calculations to Plan Cells in Text Mode.
  5. Click Save.
Note:

You cannot edit a reference once it has been created.

Deleting a Reference

To delete a reference:

  1. On the Formula Builder, click on the segment that contains the reference.
  2. Click Delete.
