New Features and Enhancements in Foundations Spring 2024

The following new features have been introduced in the Spring 2024 release of Foundations.

Foundations and Integrations Task Launcher

A new SSM – Accounting Connector Settings link is added under the Integration section, which allows for easy navigation from Foundations to the SSM – Accounting Connector Admin page. For more information, see Foundations and Integrations Task Launcher Overview.

Enhanced Support of App Page KPI Cards

We have made the following enhancements to the FDN App Page Cards Panel:

  • Restyled the layout and visuals in the App Page Cards Panel Config Builder.
  • Improved the error handling.
  • You can now click anywhere in a card to open its linked list view.
  • Added icons to each card and added a checkbox in the Lightning App Builder component properties to enable you to hide them.
  • Added a checkbox and text field in the Lightning App Builder component properties to enable you to add and show a title in the panel.

Hybrid Library Version

We have released some Hybrid Library security updates. The latest version has a more secure method for onboarding customers to off-platform services. The Certinia Onboarding Team must insert configuration details and secrets via a connected app. Users can update the hybrid configuration data with the Update Certinia Hybrid Configuration custom permission. Also, the Hybrid Library release introduces a new rest endpoint, custom permission, and protected custom setting to the Foundations Spring 2024 package.
