Enable Deferred Revenue True-Up

This Feature Console page performs setup to enable deferred revenue true-up. If you intend using deferred revenue true-up, you must enable this feature regardless of whether you are setting up Revenue Management for the first time or upgrading from an older version.

Before You Begin

To calculate true-up values, Revenue Management needs to access fields on each source record containing that record's deferred revenue to date value in the following currencies:

  • Document currency
  • Home currency if you intend calculating true-up values for home currency.
  • Dual currency if you intend calculating true-up values for dual currency.

Therefore you must ensure that your source objects have fields to store these deferred revenue to date values and currencies.

Note:

If you do not already have fields on your source objects for Home Currency and Dual Currency you can add them by enabling the Historic FX Rates - Source Object Setup feature. This feature also sets up fields for Document Rate and Dual Rate, and explains how to configure a Salesforce flow to populate the rate fields automatically. For more information, see Enabling Historic FX Rates - Source Object Setup.
