What is an Aged Analysis Report?

The Accounting application provides the ability to run an aged debt An amount owed by a customer that is current or overdue by one or more given periods, usually increments of 30 days. report that allows you to check the following:

• How much money your customers (accounts) owe you.
• Which of your accounts owes you the most money.
• How long your balances have been outstanding.

Alternatively you can run an aged credit An amount owing to a vendor viewed acccording to the number of periods since it has become due or until it will become due, usually increments of 30 days. report that allows you to check the following:

• How much money you owe to your vendors (accounts).
• Which of your vendors is owed the most money.
• How soon your balances will be due for payment and how long some may have been outstanding.

Before you can run an aged analysis report, you must create one or more aged analysis definitions.
