Editing Playbook Tasks
You can edit playbook tasks from:
- The Playbook Tasks tab
- Success Tracker

Editing Playbook Tasks from the Playbooks Tasks Tab
To edit a playbook task from the Playbook Tasks tab:
- In the App Launcher, navigate to the Playbook Tasks tab.
- Do one of the following to display the edit window:
- Click next to the playbook task that you want to edit, then click Edit.
- Click the playbook task that you want to edit, then click Edit on the playbook task's record page.
- In the edit window, edit the information you want. The displayed fields might vary if your org uses custom record types. For more information, contact your administrator.
- Click Save to save the playbook task or Save & New to save the playbook task and create a new one.
Editing Playbook Tasks from Success Tracker
You can edit a playbook task from Success Tracker if:
- The playbook task has an associated success plan. You can do it in the Success Tracker tab of the related success plan's record page.
- The playbook task has an associated account. You can do it in the Success Plans tab of the related account's record page. If you cannot view this tab, contact your administrator.
If a playbook task is not associated with either a success plan or an account, you must edit it from the Playbook Tasks tab.
To edit a playbook task associated with a success plan from Success Tracker:
- In the App Launcher, navigate to the Success Plans tab.
- Click the success plan that the playbook task belongs to. The success plan's record page displays.
- On the success plan's record page, click the Success Tracker tab.
- In the Success Tracker grid, select the checkbox next to the playbook task that you want to edit. To view the playbook task you want, you might need to click next to its related objective and playbook.
- Click in the toolbar. The edit window displays.
- Edit the information you want. The displayed fields might vary if your org uses custom record types. For more information, contact your administrator.
- Click Save.
To edit a playbook task associated with an account from Success Tracker:
- In the App Launcher, navigate to the Accounts tab.
- Click the account that the playbook task belongs to. The account's record page displays.
- On the account's record page, click the Success Plans tab. If you cannot view this tab, contact your administrator.
- In the Success Tracker grid, select the checkbox next to the playbook task that you want to edit. To view the playbook task you want, you might need to click next to its related success plan, objective, and playbook.
- Click in the toolbar. The edit window displays.
- Edit the information you want. The displayed fields might vary if your org uses custom record types. For more information, contact your administrator.
- Click Save.
