- Configure the Certinia Services Gateway connected app
- Provide users who will be using the Slack integration with access to do the following:
- Create Slack channels from records in your Certinia apps
- Add or remove users from channels
To enable users to use the Slack integration, you must assign them read and create permissions for the following platform events:
- Slack Channel Event
- Slack Channel Member Event
You must also assign the Certinia Services Gateway connected app to users who will be using the Slack integration.
For more information about managing access to connected apps, see the Salesforce Help.
Your Slack workspace administrator must complete the following steps to provide access to Slack from your org. This makes the Certinia app available to users in your workspace.
To install and configure the Certinia app in your Slack workspace, do the following:
- Go to https://api-gateway.services.financialforce.com/slack/login.
- Click Sign in with Slack. The permissions that the Certinia app needs are displayed.
- Click Allow. The app is installed in the Slack workspace.
When the app is installed, you can inform your users that the Certinia app is available in Slack. They must then follow the instructions in the welcome message to start using the app.
The Slack Channel Manager is a Lightning component that enables you to create channels for a record and manage the list of users in that Slack channel. You can add the component to your Lightning pages.
