Setting up External Certinia Features
Some Certinia features run externally. These features require the Certinia Services Gateway remote site setting and connected app to be configured in your org. The gateway is an authentication tool that connects your org to external Certinia features.
The following Certinia features run externally:
- Slack integration
- Translation Reporter
Your org needs to be configured to use these external features.
The configuration steps to access these services are the same for sandbox and production orgs. If you create a sandbox org from a configured production org, you will need to carry out the steps again in the new sandbox org.
To use these features, you must have the Certinia Services Gateway remote site setting registered. Ensure the URL is set to api-gateway.services.financialforce.com.

The Certinia Services Gateway connected app enables access to external features. In the OAuth access policy settings, ensure "Admin approved users are pre-authorized" is selected. This option is required because self-authorization is not supported for external features.

Certinia Customer Support must enable integrations in your org. To request this, submit an Upgrade Support ticket from the Support Hub page of the Certinia Community.
