New Features and Enhancements in Order and Inventory Management Summer 2024
The following new features have been introduced in the Summer 2024 release of Order and Inventory Management.

OIM - AvaTax Connector Enhancements
The following are the new features and improvements that have been implemented in Order and Inventory Management in Summer 2024.
Customer Code Fields in Account Extension Object
We have included the Customer Code field to the Account Extension object. This helps you to pass the customer code instead of the account name to Avalara.
Update Message Keys
In this release, we have added a new Update for Consolidated Invoicing feature in the Feature Console that allows users to update the message keys for the Invoice#Closed and CreditInvoice#ExportStatusNew message types. Enhancements to the Purchase Order Line Items Grid
To keep the process of adding lines to your purchase orders running smoothly, we've removed the following columns from the Purchase Order Line Items grid on purchase order records:
- Mode of Delivery
- Ship to Address
After listening to your feedback, we've removed these two fixed columns to prevent confusion and simplify the process of adding lines to your purchase orders. These columns were originally introduced to help you add the drop-ship information required for your drop ship purchase order lines more easily. However, you might not require them if you're only creating internal purchase orders at this point in the procurement process. To provide more flexibility, we've removed them from the grid and made all the fields related to drop shipping available in the Purchase Order Line Item Fields field set. This field set defines the columns that display in the Purchase Order Line Items grid. This means your administrator can now add or remove fields related to drop shipping as required.
