Loading Resource Requests into the Resource Planner

You can load and preview up to 50 unheld resource requests in the Resource Planner that are associated to projects. Held or assigned resource requests and those with Exclude from Planners set to true are not loaded. For each resource request, you can view the project, total requested hours, start and end dates, and a suggested resource if one has been provided. You can then create assignments from resource requests. Held resource requests and assigned resource requests that are now assignments are already displayed in the Resource Planner.

To load unheld resource requests in Resource Planner:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Click the Resource Requests tab.
    • Navigate to the Resource Request related list on the Project or Opportunity.
  2. From the Resource Requests list view or Resource Request related list, select the resource requests you want to load in the Resource Planner.
  3. Click View in Resource Planner. The Resource Planner opens. Unheld resource requests that you selected are loaded into the Request panel.
