Setting up the Services Revenue Forecasting Workspace

Installing the Workspace

PSA Workspaces is not currently part of the PSA core product. Contact the Onboarding Team to have the PSA Workspaces package installed into your org.

Complete the following setup for your users to access the Services Revenue Forecasting workspace:

  1. The PSA - Forecasting - Run, PSA - Workspaces - Services Revenue Forecasting and PSA - Lightning Component Apex Class Access permission set provides access to perform actions and use navigation pane in the Services Revenue Forecasting workspace. Assign the PSA - Forecasting - Run and PSA - Workspaces - Services Revenue Forecasting set to the users that require access to the workspace.
    Note: Manually add an appropriate sharing setting for Revenue Forecast and Revenue Forecast Version respectively to perform actions and use navigation pane.
  2. The workspace links to various parts of the product and is populated by the relevant records. To view the workspace correctly with populated data, you must ensure that your users have the necessary permissions sets to access the following objects:
    • Project
    • Opportunity
    • Revenue Forecast Batch Log
  3. Manually add the Services Revenue Forecasting Workspace tab to any apps. By adding this tab to the relevant apps you gain maximum benefit from the Services Revenue Forecasting Workspace , supporting your workflows, and reducing the time needed to access the information required in your role.
  4. Add the Services Revenue Forecasting Workspace tab permission on the profiles that require access to the workspace.
  5. Apply the tab permissions on the Feature Console after the package installation is completed.
